| UL is an independent testing laboratory with multiple offices for field inspection of products and systems. UL has offered an inspection program for completed lightning protection systems. They offer a listing of registered lightning protection installation contractors involved in their program. |

| An association dedicated to promoting and supporting lightning protection in accordance with the nationally recognized safety standards of the LPI, NFPA and UL. |

| Vaisala operates the National Lightning Detection Network in the United States. The system triangulates a location for every lightning strike to earth within a square kilometer area. This information is then offered for sale for various purposes, and is a tremendous resource for finding the level of lightning activity in any locale. |
