First Priority
1) Increase LPI revenues to support additional activities and staff functions – (LPI Board 10/6/09 increased dues for Manufacturer Member category)
2) Upgrade and; re-categorize LPI website to improve function – (LPI Board 3/16/10 approved proposal for software upgrade and redesign in calendar 2010)
3) Manage training for membership at LPI Annual Conference sessions, including:
A) Updated Installation practices to improve techniques and project coordination
B) Sales and marketing with emphasis on networking and community involvement
C) Business Practices that promote the business and industry as a whole

Second Priority
6) Support effort for political action by members contacting local reps on proposed Federal legislation during 2009-2010 session – (LPI office E-blast with bill number in 2010)
5) LPI task group to coordinate industry needs with inspection authority UL including proactive updating of UL Standards – (Assigned to Board subcommittee working toward STP meeting summer 2010 and ongoing)
Additional Priority Items
6) Develop materials and campaign to expand membership to listed companies and Manufacturer dealer lists, etc. – (LPI office and Marketing Director develop program materials 2010 & ongoing)
7) Update LPI Bylaws or organization policy on certified individuals to promote system inspection and maintenance – (Board subcommittee assigned 3/16/10 to provide recommendation)
8) Coordinate presence with other National Conferences – (Assigned as future subcommittee task to identify potential for 2011 – 2012)
9) Standards Handbook (2014 Edition 780) – (Held for future assignment to coordinate with 2014 document)
10) More and/or alternate tradeshow participation including conference presentations to key groups
